Positive Development
We wanted to share with you a positive development in our long efforts to return Thoroughbred racing to Massachusetts. We have learned recently that a development team of investors in the city of Gardner and the City Council recently voted 10-1 to rezone a chosen site to allow its use for a race track. This is just one step, a positive step in the right direction to bring back the jobs and save our farms.

Albert L. Howarth Has Passed Away
Albert L. Howarth, II, age 87, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

Nicholas Trakas Has Passed Away
We are saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Chris Trakas’ brother Nicholas Trakas. Our thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to the Trakas Family .
Board Meeting Delayed
The June 17th Board meeting has been delayed until June 24th.

Anne Fazzina Has Passed Away
We are sad to announce that Anne Fazzina has passed away.

Dennis Lima has passed away
We are sad to announce that Dennis Lima passed away May 24th, 2023 at 12:30pm. Per his wishes there will not be a service. His wife Celeste was by his bedside.
Scholarship Program Suspended
Due to budget constraints that the Scholarship Program has been suspended for the time being.

General Meeting Reminder
A reminder that a GENERAL MEETING is scheduled for May 20th 10 A.M. place TBD based on registration.
