President’s Message by Anthony Spadea, Jr

Dear Members, Supporters and Fans:

This has been a very difficult year for the many horsemen and their families in New England.

We have seen hardship with the loss of many family members and members of our racing community.

Our board has worked hard and will continue to work to make our long term vision and return to FULL time racing a reality for all.

We continue to make strides and move forward with the Horse Park. We have identified three potential sites and have full support from those towns. Our next step over the next couple of weeks is to present our full vision to legislation for support and approval. .

It has been a long and arduous process as we have had many hurdles to overcome, but we feel we are getting close. We continue to look at the various ways to return FULL TIME racing to New England. We feel the Nonprofit Horse Park is the first, best, and most viable solution at this time.

Now, more than ever we need you, our thousands of members and supporters to help us move forward and be ready to let legislation know you support the horse park and preservation of all the jobs and farms.

In closing, I sincerely wish all and their families a Merry Christmas and Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year.

Anthony Spadea
President, of the NEHBPA
