Manfred “Manny” Roos, formerly of Newton MA, Lexington, KY and Plainville MA passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024.
Manny was involved in Horse Racing for over 50 years. His horses were trained by John Rigattieri, The late Arthur Duffy, Arthur Duffy Jr. and his son Barry Roos.
Beloved husband of the late Faye Roos (Cohen)
Son of the late Max and Gertrude (Hene), Loving brother to Norman (Carin) and the late Elaine Kosto. Brother in law of Estelle Zatz and Sandra Levine.
Wonderful father to Pamela Friedman Ross and her husband Rob, Barry Roos and his wife Leslie, and Stacy Roos. Adoring grandfather of Brad and Jared Ross, Allyson and Erica Roos, Jeffrey Gizelis and Lauren Carmen.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. at 1:00PM at Temple Sinai, 25 Canton Street, Sharon. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Shiva will take place at Temple Sinai immediately following the burial until 5:30PM. Shiva continues on Wednesday from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the home of Pamela and Robert Ross.
