This letter is to inform you of some recent changes the board made at its most recent meeting:
Old Age Assistance. The board made changes on eligibility for the better that will allow more trainers the opportunity for an increase in their monthly premium. The new formula now factors years or starts whichever is greater and increases the current amounts. Those Trainers that meet the new eligibility will see the increase in their check and all others that do not, their monthly amount will remain the same. We will make every effort to get the new checks out as soon as we can process all the information.
Benevolence has been increased from up to $750 to $1500
Eyeglass Coverage reminder is available up to $200 with proof of receipt.
Finally, below is a schedule of planned meetings for the year if you would like to attend. Please RSVP at 617-744-3603 so we can plan for space and leave a message with your name If you plan to attend.
Meeting Dates (All meetings will be held at 10 a.m. in the NEHBPA Waltham office at 846 Lexington Street, 2nd floor, Suite 4 (except the May 20* meeting which location is TBD). Those dates are: April 8, May 20* General Meeting, June 17, July TBD, August TBD, September 16, October 14, November 11, December 16.
