Today by preserving the race horse development fund (RHDF), the conference committee is protecting an industry in Massachusetts that has the potential to create up to 1,000 new jobs and $100 million in annual economic activity. The choice was between spending and investing and the Legislature chose to invest in the future of this industry and our economy.
